Early Bay for Sale - £9,800 - deposit taken
Sadly up for sale is my right hand drive, VW Camper Devon Bay window in original colour Petrol Blue with a pop-top roof. This is a reluctant sale due to financial circumstances.
Registered in 1972 - Historic Tax Exempt. Air cooled 1600cc Engine. This is a very reliable bus and has been used both as a holiday home and a daily driver.
Fully restored last year and is ready to give someone a trouble free summer of laid-back motoring, touring and enjoyment.
The restore included;
- Newly fitted restored engine
- All panels restored/replaced
- Both wheel arches replaced
- All windows replaced
- Brand new window seals
- Brand new upholstery in cream leatherette with blue piping
- Brand new black out curtains in Retro cream and brown flower design
- Matching Cushions
The mileage says 48,000 but we believe it has gone round the clock as the bus is over 40 years old. Although, it has only been driven 2,500 using the newly restored engine.
The original interior includes sink and fridge unit, sofa and box seat with storage areas underneath, extractor fan, 1 large cupboard and several other storage areas. The bus will sleep four with a double bed and 2 hammocks.
There is so much to say about this lovely little camper but I would prefer you to come and view and take it for a spin. I am in Newcastle upon Tyne. Serious buyers only please.
