I am currently having my van restored and am going to have a new interior fitted after. I was just wondering what size bed you have in your vans and how you get on with them? i was thinking of putting a full width rock and roll bed in mine but would a 3/4 bed be comfortable or compact for two people? Any help or thoughts will be very helpful :!:

THANKS Luke :D

two people in a 3/4 bed is the same as two people in a single bed in one's house. Its gotta be full width.

All depends on the 'dimensions' of the people using the bed! If I dispense with the spare wheel to the new roof rack, then the 3/4 is fine for me and my boy (9yr old), we have got on fine with the spare in the bus, but putting it up top will make a big difference. I am 5'8'' ish and about 12 stone. If there were two of me I think it would be o.k. but perhaps a bit snug! Hope that is of some help.

Depends how much you like the other person your sleeping with :D.
I have a full size one, which is great but you loose some storage space.
Two weeks in cornwall was as comfy as being in my own bed at home, your not right on each other and if you have children when they wake up in the mornings there is room for them too.

we did a month in France witha 3/4 bed and it was ok but a little on the thin size, now have a full width but have yet to test it out - it's always good having the extra width I reckon.

Im 6 2 and my wifes 5 2, we find with the spare on the roof a 3/4 is just about OK,the lenth is a bit short for me so I wear bed socks. :)

it looks like its going to have to be a full width then as im not a big fan of being too close together! thanks for all your help guys! luke
