As I'm moving into the world of 5x205 wheels I have a question...

Will my local tyre place be able to fit the rims on the balancing machine? It's just struck me how big that hole is in the middle of the rims!!!

;)

Better off going to an independent fitting place.

We have a great place near us that still has all the wide five balancing gear, and they're a sight cheaper than places like Kwik Fit too.

The last place I used were unable to balance mine, but it seems ok ..... :?

Most tyre places have adapters (like big cones) that will fit your wheel on. I would definately get it balanced, just ask them to fit any weights to the back for that cleaner non paint removing look!

i had my 5x205s done 'old-school' on a bubble swing level, strange contraption, but puts alot less stress on the wheel so less likely to damage it.

The guy putting it on had a big smile on his face as he was realy enjoying using the level again :)
