68 ignition barrel

Anyone changed the barrel on a 68 bus, I've changed later ones and yes I know about the hidden release latch and the bent wire etc etc but thus housing is different and doesn't appear to have the hidden release.

My 68 definitely had the hidden release, it was a while ago when I got it out so I can't remember much else about it :roll:

My 70 didn't. Just had a pin towards the front that pushed out to release it. Spent ages looking for the hidden hole before trying. I will dig it out and take another look.

Cheers, sorted now as Roland Lebruu steering me in that direction as well, just wasnt pushing the pin down hard enough :lol: :lol: , power of the internet, got to love it
