So, its the holidays and as I promised, its time for an update again! We've got some done but there is still plenty of rusted areas to go around :roll:
A couple of repairs that we've done earlier but not managed to get pics of until now. First up is the front jack support on the left side. Basically complete, but will need some grinding still
The rear jack support on the right side (I know, crappy picture)
Probably the worst damaged area on the van, left side's rear jack support and the beams around it
Well, you have to start somewhere
Main support beam. Its only rusted in certain areas but will still need some work
First replacement piece on its way in
This is in the right front wheel well. As you can easily notice, a previous owner has attempted to "repair" the rust with some pro-style welding. Looks like shit.. And do you think he cut out the rust underneath before he welded the new piece of metal in?
Of course not :?
Also the other side of this jack support was a bit rusted but the overall integrity of the support is still intact so we wont be replacing this one (as we have done with the others)
