Ok this is not what was planned for this bus but it is up for sale so here goes.

1972 Devon moonraker pop top, 63,215 miles from new, 1 previous owner for 37 years, i am the second owner, the bus was Ziebart rust proofed from new hence structural condition when I bought it. the bus was laid up in a garage from 1985 until 2009 so 24 years when I bought it. it had dropped a valve in 1985 and never fixed for various reasons so i bought it as a none runner.

I started listing the work that has been carried out but the list is so extensive it will take an age, so I am happy to spend as much time showing any potential purchasers round the van so you can see it in the flesh. all the work has been photographed,I have around 400 pictures so you can see every detail.
the condition of the bus is as new with no rust or rot anywhere, every part of the bus that could be refurbished has been.
I have spent between 15k and 20k on this and lots and lots of time getting this van back to as new condition.
It has 10 months MOT and Tax ( and tax exempt obviously).
I have the original bill of sale stating the price and the extras and the ziebart receipt and lots of invoices all pre 1985 of course.
I have the original 1700 engine being rebuilt at the moment so all numbers match, I have put in temporary 1800 in that runs great but want the original fitted so numbers are all correct.
I want 17k for this with the original engine fitted or 15k with 1800 engine fitted and the original supplied so you can fit yourself.
this really is a special camper that i am happy just to get the money i have spent back on so get yourself a stunning RHD camper
that has another 40 life span.
probably lots more i can say so will add things that might help as i think of them

These were taken as the interior was still being fitted and it is now complete

Please PM me with your email and I will send pictures ( although i will try to post some here as well if i can make the files small enough?? ).

ADDITION;
I have upgraded the side windows to Westy louvres ones but still have original glass if that is what you wanted. all doors are as brand new with perfect seams and no filler anywhere infact there is no filler on the whole vehicle anywhere :D original front bumper in perfect condition, it came without a rear bumper so purchased a good one and used that. original lights, badges handles, locks, seats, dash, cab mats, the list goes on.
Also three point inertia belts fitted x4 two in the front and two in the rear.

I cant believe I am doing it.
Lots of good reasons for selling and I will regret it when it's gone but it needs to go for other plans to happen :(
I will be soo happy to see somebody get this superb Devon and enjoy it for what it was made for.

I Think most people liked the leaded lights, so must be the pebble dashing or the stone cladding

I have taken a deposit on this wonderful van so now sold and i am feeling sad.. but I am very happy for Simon who has just bought a cracking van. sure he will be along here soon like a dog with two doodas..
