72 crossover front brakes

Ive got a 72 crosser. I believe that they had 1yr only brakes is this true. If so what are the difference between 72 and ones after 72.

Got a new beam to go on and it came fitted with disc, calipers etc.

was gonna use old ones (i know they work), and referb old ones to keep as spare.

Just wanted to know what differences to look out for.

I think the distance between the mounting holes is different - and the pads aren't stocked everywhere either!!! I think Johnny's your man for this one - he looked into it before swapping his calipers out (appologies if that's wrong Johnny - memory's starting to go :roll: )

The brakes changed in august 72 for the 73 model....
71 had two versions of caliper 72 had the later 71 caliper and 73 much larger caliper thicker discs, pads and longer pistons...
