This has been a 2 year restoration.
£2700 spent out on welding and fabrication all done professionally by Airwerx in Ringwood Hampshire. (EVERYTHING THAT HAD TO BE WELDED HAS BEEN DONE)
Re-sprayed to original colour Pastel white L90D.
COMPLETE engine rebuild and tinware powder-coated. Rebuild buy Trained 30 years VW specialist mechanic.
All New rebuilt drum brake at rear all New rebuilt disc brake at the front. Replace all the hard-lines
All new Clutch and linkage, Brake and Heater Cables.
COMPLETE new window door and engine rubbers and sills THROUGH OUT!
All new Hella lights THROUGH OUT
Dashboard removed and been Powder Coated.
I have cut no corner in restoring this bus it was to be my Pride & Joy, But last summer as coming to the end of the restoration I met my wife to be and have spent the last 4 months
In the USA.
Where I will be moving to once sold everything I own here.
Stuff outstanding on the van to MOT
Fit exhaust,
Rebuild ignition or replace
Back indicators electrics need tinkering with
Exhaust has powder coated but need to be fitted
Carb has been restored but needs to be fitted
Wheels and coming off this week to go to be powder-coated (Tire's are legal but odd makes so would be better with new Tire's)
I WILL FINISH THE PROJECT TO TAKE TO THE VOLKSWORLD SHOW IN MARCH AT Sandown TO SELL, BUT IF SOMEONE WANTS TO TAKE IT OFF MY HANDS NOW FOR A SENSIBLE OFFER THAN GET IN CONTACT WITH ME!
(THE IS NO INTERIOR EXCEPT OG SEATS) SO BLANK CANVAS TO YOUR OWN STYLE!
