Found a lot of play in the accelerator linkage rod that goes through the chassis rail. Temporarily fixed with a piece of copper pipe:
But decided to do a permanent fix. Ordered some 6mm stainless steel rod. Removed the old one (had to cut it off) and replaced with new rod. The cotter pins are only for the photo, replaced with roll pins when fitted to the van:
