Went to fit my back lights today ,guess what the go chrome trim I spent ages looking for wont fit over the lens ,any one else had this problem .i bought the lenses from schofeild .think I might have to look for some og ones
Can I get these from any where ,I had a set on my old euro ones from c&c but they were red rust in six months67westy said:If its the stainless type trim it won't fit on the euro (amber and red) lenses but will over US style

Now that sounds a plan ,do you know where I can get the all red lenses67westy said:Apparently green bulbs in red lenses works wellI'll be trying it at some point for the same reason, had the trims sat on a shelf for nearly two years!

Thanks for reply ,I looked at these today ,if I grind them to fit the outer rim will be gone :? There a fair bit smaller ,will take a pic tomorrowsubheatadey said:The red amber rear lenses didn't fit the OG chrome trim on mine so i carefully ground them back on the grinding wheel until they did
Ime gunna leave euro ones on for mot and hopefully get some USA ones laterbusman said:Originally the Euro rear light lenses came complete with the chrome built into the lens, them cheap repro ones come with a separate chrome ring which rust, only US ones came with the ring separate. It's worth paying the extra money for either Hella or good repro with the chrome built into the lens as they don't rust. And if you have bought US spec chrome rings, they will never fit the Euro lenses you have bought because they are different sizes.
