the tactic is to spam the shit out of websites to get himself up the google listing for kitchens. Seems effective. This crook has even had a BBC program made about him. His knick-name is 'the kitchen gangster'

By linking to his website (and others that also link to his website) aren't we just helping push his site further up the rankings?
Just a thought.

Perhaps the next time they spam we neuter the links and throw some awful insults their way :msn4:

none of these links pasted here link to any of his sites (247 in total) but sites that are against his dodgy practices.

i know what i would do with him if i got my hands on him.

Ohhh, sorry I thought the 4th one was (hence why I didn't click on it!)

Bloody spammers.

Surely one of us has the IT skills to return the spamming favour to this creep.

Is it possible to put a block on the word kitchen?

There might be a setting in the admin panel for the forums that allows you to add "rel=nofollow" to any links posted by users below a certain number of posts.

This isn't going to stop them coming in and spamming, but the nofollow will stop google following those links and helping the spammers out by moving their site higher up the rankings.

Might be worth a look?
