Right here goes :(
For the last year I have paid £1 a week into a fund where I get 1 lottery number, on a Wednesdays lottery draw if your number is drawn (as the bonus ball) you win whatever is in the pot, if no ones number comes up it rolls over till someone wins.

I do up me van (old Poe) last year & finnish paint job in May go on hols in August & get smashed up :(
So whilst I,m off on sick leave (6 weeks) with a broken foot from the accident, this lottery draw is the least of my worries.
I go into work in plaster & on crutches just to get a document signed so I can claim a mortgage payment insurance thing I,ve got. So the women at work who runs the lottery thing says I owe her £5 for lottery payments as she paid them for me whilst I,m off & no one has won it for a while, "cool" I said "thanks for that I,m back in work next week I'll pay you then." to which she was happy. Nice of her to pay it for me I thought.
So I start work the next week & go upto the said lady & offer her £6 for previous money she paid & £1 for the coming Wednesday, she looked at me & said "you can,t just stop paying then join in again, you,ll have to wait until it,s won & then start in again." Fek me I thought I know for deffo what she said to me the week before, but she is a weird, funny & very strange women so rather than argue what she had said I left it & put my money in me pocket.
So this week my number comes up, with a winning pot of £160, she don,t half look sheepish because she knows the score & what she said.. Why she changed her mind I,ve no idea.
Thing is my accident happened on the 3rd day of my hols so me & helen are going to Italy for a few days next week as our holidays & with me only getting sick pay & no over time the last 2 months I,m skint & had to borrow £150 off my mum to use as spending money...
I,m thinking of getting her rules & numbers she has pinned on the board along with proof of the No 30 that was drawn on the 1/10/08 & putting it in on my claim against the womens insurance company who caused the car accident
Maybe I,ve no chance but I lost out on £160 through being off work with the accident & not being mobile to get to work & pay the money each week....
Whats your opinions

Mate, are you related to 'Lucky Alf' from the Fast Show? Read about your bus, real bummer.
No expert on this, but if you can prove the number you had every week, that you had payed every week, and had done so without a break for a considerable period, then surely there must be a case for a claim. Would have thought copies of a 'tick list' for who has payed on what date along with a list of number allocations should suffice, although I appreciate this may be difficult to come up with if the lady running it is a little 'strange'. Good luck fella, you deserve some, and enjoy Italy.

Thats a good shout, i,ll polaitly ask her tommoz for a sheet of payments so I can see my payments I,ve made over the last year, I know when I,ve not been there for a week a girl in the office rings me up & says she'll pay it for me, I always make a note of paying her back as soon as I see her..
Sorry I,m not sure who Lucky Alf is :D

not bitter, not even unlucky. you just happen to work with a bitter bonus ball organiser.
i'd do all you can to rally support at work and get the woman to pay up your £160
then if i didnt get it i'd make sure i got my own back on her (i'm a bitter person deep down and beleive strongly in karma, and getting whats coming to you). then i'd never bother chucking them your quid again. :)

Stupid Bitch!

When she's not looking tie a bit of toilet roll to the back of her dress/skirt at work and let her walk round with it all day.

Wont get your £160 back for ya fella, but might put a smile back on ya face.

Hope i've helped. :D

Poo in the post? works for me

take the said weird lady to one side and in your most menacing voice tell her in no uncertain terms that you and her know exactly what the score is over this money and if she does`nt hand over the dough minus the sick squid then you will ram yer cock up her arse then tell her she`s been shafted too
hope this is of some help ....if ya want me to do it for ya just ask!!!

Unfortuantely we have people in the office I work at like her. Not a lot can be said, other than amusing yourself.
It can be some, even some of the simpliest of things can bring hours of fun if they really are that dumb. Such as changing the mouse on their PC from right click to left click. Or accidentally spilling the juice from a tin of tuna on their chair, Friday evening after everyone has gone. No one ever works out where the smell is coming from, well atleast not for a couple of days. I'm not condoning this kind of behavious, but it will put a smile on your face if nothing more

nick her mouse ball. or tape over the optical eye. glue her desk draw locks. but ive got to go with easy on this one. crap in her desk draw then jam it shut so it requires a good tug to free it. (amussing trainspotting style **** drenching will insue)

Just to add insult to injury! bad luck dude. Grrrrrrr

Surely you can argue with the strange lady, no one can be that nasty surely when she knows you've been off sick?

Thanks peeps & I thought all early bay people were decent human beings
It,s more the way she changed her mind thats annoyed me, I don,t want the money after all this hassle, as I'd consider it unfair to my work mates.. Think I'm gonna press on & add it on my insurance claim :D
