i want to preserve some thin og paint is anker wax the answer? are there any pros or cons to it? does it dry clear? how long does it take to dry? do i apply just one coat? any advice on this product would be great. thanks

It leaves a grease film very good water tight/repellant, but it will tend to darken the patina of your paint, if its just to protect what you have you may just require a good quality car wax and put a few coats on buff it up then its just a matter of keeping on top of it......
