i know there have been quite a few previous threads about brackets etc but can anyone tell what length inertia belt and buckle is required

once a template for the mount is complete and seat belt fits i may do a run of bracket plates if anyone is interested?

I've fitted 2 x 3 point belts in the rear of our westy, you may have seen the thread. You need to come up with the bracket first to determine the belt length. I found the front T2 belts too short with my bracket (an adult could wear the belt but not lean forward without it locking out), so used T25 front belts with a fabric belt stalk instead of the wire stalk that would come with a front belt kit.

curly head ...be carefull with the seat belt brkts if your making for other people as you will be liable if anything goes wrong , i looked in to getting mine tested by Manchester university (who test all new seatbelts /brkts ect) and it would cost 3000 plus they would need a shell .On talking to them they would exert a ton force on each anchor point in a forward montion ,

Hi!

Valid point, but as there are no belts in the back of my bus, i would be quite happy with some bolt on unit, better than nothing!

I'd buy one anyway.

Cheers!
