That's been something I've been meaning to get around to doing Jimbo (getting a list of previous owners).
I've always done that registration check with my cars though, just because I like to know where they lived when new!

It's nice that HGU464K has remained very original over the years. The first thing the new owner of our old Danbury did was to paint all the original woodwork and trim dark blue, which made the interior look horrid! I guess were our old bus to ever come my way in the future, it wouldn't be too difficult to return it to how it was when we had it. :)

Its the v888 form you need to do this.Just print it off the DVLA site and send it back with a fiver!
I did this it took about a month for it to come back turns out my panel van was owned by a vw main dealer for the first 6 years.

This is what I have found out so far,Such a shame jimbo aunt and uncle have passed away it would have been great for them to have one last ride in their old camper.

Hi

Yes Doug you are correct in the days of the old style reg numbers you take the last two letters of the reg number eg HGU use the GU and that is where the vehicle is first registered, mine CNJ was registered in Brighton and all the old receipts support this, as the owners used local garages in the Brighton area, I was thinking of writing to the DVLA to get a list of previous owners has anyone done this?

Jimbo

I had a WNJ mk2 golf with plates from a Brighton dealership.
