After deliberating for the last year or so and concentrating on getting the inside up to scratch i am now coming round to the idea of lowering. I've very limited mechanical know how so what are my options and main considerations? I've heard people talk of uncomfortable rides, problems with speed bumps etc. How much of a problem is this. Just about every camp site i have visited has speed bumps.
I agree that lowered buses look much better but sooner or later stock height buses will be more unusual than their cooler looking counterparts.
One certain advantage will be that once lowered then i will be able to get the bus into the garage which will make me very happy.

when you say "lowering" what is it your after??? Find a photo of a stance you like and im sure folk will let you know how best to achieve it. Prices will range from £100-£3000+ depending on what you want.

Try here for stance ideas and how they dun it ;) http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7365" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You can go from the subtle to the sublime and all area in between.

Only that as well as compromising the ride quality, you have to hit seven bells out of your front shift rod to get it to miss the beam torsion tubes and then it might catch on the top adjuster...

...still looks better though. :D

Very good advice, I couldn't put it better myself.
