Had a top weekend all in all just shame about the weather.

Basically me engine was fine with no oil leaks then developed a stumble and rough running. I had to really mash the accelerator pedal at a roundabout to get out and then the engine worsened. I stopped at Toddington to find a pretty bad oil leak filled up and continued. Got to Fleet and I'd lost most of me oil and it was pissing out so AA'd it home.

Tried pulling the bottom pulley today and loads of nasty endfloat so recon it's bearings perhaps and has caused the crank to 'eat' the oil seal.

New engine time me thinks!

Happy Days...

Gutted for ya mate . looking good tho even if it is on an AA truck

Unlucky Fraggle! At least you had a good weekend. 2 years ago i broke down on the way to BJ and AA'd to the show. Fixed the engine over the weekend and got home on own steam!

I ran out of luck in North Wales two years ago and saved a fortune being trucked home. Trouble was I should have been picking my daughter up in Coventry so had to drive back up... only to put petrol in my then diesel car costing another tow and £200 to drain it out! Plus I'd put £40 of petrol in before I realised!! Doh!!!

shame about the engine dude, but at least now you can have a new one. Heard that the mexico engines are good, but only heard and not seen.
