Hi
Im new to Early Bay and to the VW bus world in general. Ive recently got a 1971 westy, in great nick.
Im interested to find any fellow EBers in Bristol and surrounds for general chat/swaps/meets/advice etc.

Kev

Hello mate and welcome 8) im in sunny Filton and run The Old Volks Club of 8) Bristol. Check out our website and come along to a meet to say hello 8) if you need anything let me know 8)

Thanks fellas, we're in Easton. We're completely new to the VW scene - but having fancied a bus for some time we managed to lay our hands on a lovely 1971 westy. Its been in the states a fair while and the bodywork is in great condition. We bought it from an Italian owner and have sucesfully dated, MOT'd and registered it. We're just having a few bits and bobs done to make it run a bit more smoothly! We've had a few nice weekends away so far and have plans to get some work done over the winter. My problem is im a complete novice when it comes to the 'engine' side of things. Im really looking forward to learning and getting my hands dirty, but will certianly need some help and some pointers in the right direction!

Kev (& Barry)

Howdy :D

I'm over near the Suspension bridge, when I'm not in Birmingham :)

There are quite a lot of VWs in Bristol, and at least 3 active VW clubs in the area.

Welcome
I'm in Bradley Stoke, went along to the Bristol Old Volks meet up last night,

seem like a good bunch  , so gonna go next month as well. Maybe see you there?

It's almost worth it to be in a cool VDub scene and closer to Devon and Cornwall :D
