anyone kept their Microbus as a bus...

Finally decided to keep my bus as a bus. I'm getting the z hinges of Dave on here which gives me the bed option but in general it will be a bus....so before I visit the upholsterer has anyone got pictures of their bus as bus interiors??? Cheers

I've binned the middle 2 seater bench (well I've binned the cushions) I'd contemplated spinning it so the backs against the bulkheads, gonna wait to see what its like with the hinges in place.....

I'm thinking of a pale blue vinyl with cream piping, thought about cream panels inserted into the blue but having seen Strongy's and spoke to him I think I'll avoid cream on the seats....

Dave / Araon - this is an odd request but I think the mountings for my middle seat are a bit off. Is there any chance you can measure how far yours are away from the side of the van? I think there's 3 sets of mounting points. When my get back from its MOT I will take a pic and you can see why I'm asking you this.

no worries araon - just had a thought, perhaps its the seat itself. I wonder whether the seat has come out of a split and they are a different size??

ok middle seat in my van the spacings for the fixings to the cargo floor are at the following centers from the edge of the floor

8cm

55cm

97cm

this is as best i can do dude cos its dark now and my vans under a cover to so it was quite difficult to measure plus my neighbours now think i'm offically wierd camped out inside my van on the drive under a cover with a flashlight.

Cheers Dave your a top bloke. Just heard my bus has passed the MOT second time round which is great news for the next year...its back tomorrow night so I will be doing much the same as you did tonight. I'm sure all of our neighbours think we're mentalists...thank god for places like this where you can feel sane....well sort of. I'll let you know how I get on.
