Need some bits for the bus, are there many traders/booters there, might pop over sunday if there is

Bigdeano, I popped along today to get a few bits but was a bit disappointed as there were very few parts available. I was there around lunch on Saturday & there were about half a dozen (at the most) pitches with used parts for sale. Mainly mixed VW mainly beetle, T25 & later with a few Bay bits.
Most stands are selling clothes, cushions, pics & some VW themed "stuff".
I didn't even see GSF though they had banners around the place. I bought quite a few bits from them last year. Several tents were empty - though they may turn up later.

There was a handful of buses in the centre area for judging but the majority were in the fields around who were camping. I get the feeling that it's more of a show for the weekend & friends than one where you'll pick up that illusive part.

2010 in Long Itchinglon was my first visit. All new to me but I enjoyed the amatuer feel. I felt that most people selling stuff were clearing their garages rather than running a business.
Last year at Ladbroke was different but very wet. More traders but again all weekenders looked like they were having a good time.
This year I was over & out in 90 mins & even that was a stretch - Unfortunately I wasn't the only one. Pity.
Others may see it differently.
