Ok. First proper trip out today. Nipping around the Gower I was getting the odd backfire when easing off on pedal. Nothing major. Also first thing in morning I got 60 out of it and later in the day 50. Not that I cut around screwing the engine.
Slightly embarrassing as I tried to reverse in the Bracelet bay car park I couldn't find the gear and had to push the van out of the parking slot
found it later.
I have a bog standard 1600 twin port engine using a 34 Pict carb. Electronic dizzy so no points etc
