durham.....its nice
So I have a set of Empi 5's from my pal for my '72 bay, he gave me some hubs with the longer studs fitted which are required on the back. Gunned them up and fitted the alloys, now.... The alloy is sitting on a lip of the rear drum and when I tight end the nuts the wheel locked up!
I fitted spacers to make the alloy sit off the lip and tightened them up.... Still, the week gets stiff :?
Any advice? I'm properly baffled!
Was gonna fit a steel wheel with no spacer today and see if it again tightens the drum up.
I'm stumped!!

Could be the hubs are for a different model year and tightening the wheel nuts pushes the drum onto the linings?

Rear hubs on a '72 are the same as all years of T25 when you look at the usual suspects to order them..... :? I'm thinking back off the brakes completely ( not road tested at all yet as still up on bricks) and try again then see what's what?
