all german bays came out of the factory with balljoint beams.

i'm wracking my brains to think of a simple way of describing the difference, but i can't.

Ball joint beam, that the balljoints at the suspension arm ends. Slightly misleading photos as this is the 2td lowered beam with the ball joints upside down, Which is yet another debate, yours will be the other way up, ie on top.
