Hi,

As it is more and more difficult to get good quality exhausts, I was looking at those who adapted a beetle exhaust to their early van.

How do you make them fit, as everybody is saying that it's impossible because of the apron.
Do you adapt the pipes?

VS gets my vote!
Although I do love the noise beetle exhausts make

The standaard beetle exhaust fits with no problems. I just have the 2 ends in stainless steel and a little bigger and one of them hits the bumper but that could also be because of the shape of the bumper... 8)
Send an email to VS with the question of the VS beetleexhaust would fit and they say no, don't know way, mayby the exhaust is to close to the enginebar....

I like the look, sound and preformance of my standard beetle exhaust. My pea shooters are chrome and fit fine without touching the bumper.

Here is a discussion that might be of help from the samba ...
