Boot and engine seals fitting? Westy pop top seals?

Hi!

Got some gen engine and boot seals......How do they fit? Just push and fix in or do i need to use some sort of sealer as well??

Also westy pop top seals? Do I need to take the roof off? Or can i do it without? I have the set, the ones around the sides, and across the rear rack etc....

Newbie questions and learning quick!!

westy seal just pushes on, do not cut to length until it's all fitted though, do not use a mallet either to fit.
the other seals I have changed and they push in from memory !!!!, some correct me if I'm wrong :!:

the only seals ive had to use adhesive on was the cab door seals, the rest fitted snugly.
