The image has been altered and a Slogan added so there is no issue or copy write.

Not wishing to sound like a party pooper, but when you say an image from VW can you clarify what you mean by that?

Altering images and adding slogans doesn't change the copyright which belongs to the photographer and not the vehicle owner. The exception to this would be if the vehicle owner commissioned the photographer to take said picture and paid for all ownership rights to be transferred.

I know it's highly unlikely, but I wouldn't want you coming unstuck after the effort you and your wife are putting in
