Bra, number plates and the law

Our number plate is fitted to the front body work (not the bumper). When we put the bra on, it covers the number plate so do you think it is legal to place a number plate on the dash when we put the bra on?

As long as it visable from the front and the letters are the correct size for year it can be anywhere even the front of a roof rack if yours is at the front of the bus
