Tried to fit my calipers on my Red 9 Wishbone setup today and think I may have the wrong flexi pipes and interested to see what others have done for the brake bracket where the flexi meets the solid pipe.
I had to cut off the OG bracket as it fouls the Red9 setup and it comes with a bracket as part of the top wishbone mounting. But if I decide to drop the mounting lower I don't know if that will work as the solid pipe will be connected to the wishbone mounting that will rise/fall? I probably should have welded new brackets to the chassis but its all painted now so too late.

The flexi pipe I was advised to use is for a split, the male end screws into the caliper but it bottoms out before a copper washer would seal it and the male end of the pipe curves inwards slightly, as if to fit a solid pipe. The caliper fitting looks like it requires a tapered style end on the thread if that makes sense.
Here's a few pics, hope someone can advise.

Cheers, Yeah I flipped the pipe round but must have taken the pics before doing that.
Your solid pipe takes a totally different route to mine, looks like yours runs right over the red9 to the front of your arch, mine were going at a tight angle through the chassis hole just above the top of the wishbone, have you done something different there?
Are you running 185c 14 tyres there as well? You've got a nice stance, I'm thinking I should drop the red9 down another hole, Ive started at the highest setting.

i just followed the route of the original hard line. I think that's probably a model year difference as yours has later chassis style with twin chassis legs.

My tyres are 185/65/14 and beam is set one hole from lowest. I didn't adjust the coilers at all, just some tuning of the damper ride stiffness

Thanks, I've used a different route for the copper pipe now, this way I have some adjustment if I decide to drop the front end lower.
