What is involved with changing my wide 5 drums setup to post '73 front discs and rear drums? My bus is a '68 what bits do I need.

I changed my 1 year only 71 discs, to later discs >72, by buying the complete refurbed spindle, brake and caliper from FBI.

It was a straight swap. With drums i think there are issues about the master cylinder and engine vacuum. You may need to change your master cylinder depending on the type you have as the pedal will be really stiff. Not sure about this but someone might be able to confirm?

Cool, is doing the rears as straight forward? I don't want odd stud patterns.

Not as straight forward as you have to consider the E-brake, im not sure as i kept my drums at the back. My bolt pattern was 5x112 as im 71 year only, but plan a disc conversion soon sorry cant help with the back.
