**apologies in advance about the picture quality***
I got my front bumper parts back from the paint shop and put them all together and was very happy:
however when I tried to put the complete bumper back on it didn't really fit so I took it to bits and put each part on separately. I guess I'm learning from my mistakes in that I got the sidesteps off on battered second hand aussie bumper and the front section was new. I did place them up before paint and they seemed to be ok but one of the sidesteps was battered and needed quite a bit of work. In hindsight I should have got them all straight first before paint! Anyway, how should I go about fitting them?? I've put the side steps on and loosened the front section to try and line up the sections. When all the parts are on separate they seem to be ok. The nearside has about an inch or two between the step and the body:
whereas the offside is only about 1cm
Once it's lined up it gets a little close to the body!
The nearside (which is the ex battered one) doesn't seem to fit very well:
I've lined it all up tonight and I reckon it may be ok but I'd be keen on hearing any tips on how to proceed.
