I had considered starting a YouTube channel, but as I only get a few hours here and there to work on the bus I was worried setting up and editing footage would slow my progress even further

Interested in if you are keeping tabs on the development of battery tech?.Presumably it will be relatively easy to drop out the battery trays?
It looks like semi solid state batteries might be making an appearance this year ....and the speed that EV adoption is happening suggests that donor batteries will be increasing in volume & decreasing in price pretty rapidly. It may be that in 4 or 5 years time you could bring the range up to 500 to 600 miles in less space (and weight) quite cheaply?
Might not be of interest ..... but I suspect EV conversions will be the norm by 2030.
