Cab door rubber problems..............

I've bought a pair of good quility soft grey rubber door seals for the '68. They fit lovely around the door but where the seal is glued onto the front of the door, it seams far to thick and the door won't shut - I know it will be a bit tighter to close but I don't stand a cat in hells chance of the doors shutting :!: :!:

I've taken a pic of the new seal up against the old seal to show how much thicker it is...................

Any ideas chaps????????

Do they settle down a tad once you get em on and compressed just put german qual ones on mine and they seem to work OK..

Where did you get your German seals from? I bought mine at Slough last year - They were marked up as German :?

Got mine from C&C seemed to be same as the ones status do etc.
