Hello guys,

In 2 weeks we will take the ferry from Belgium to Dover and make a little trip to Brighton.
Does anybody know some nice campingspots over there?
We will take our little boy from 9 months for the first time, so we also need some facilities for this little fella...
What are the "must-do's" in Brighton, except the Pier, fish and chips etc?

Thanks in advance!

Here you go

There is only one I'm aware of in Brighton, see above but plemty more if you are prepared to travel along the coast or inland i.e

Normans Bay , Pevensey
Blacklands Farm, Henfield
Ecclesden Farm, Angmering

Rather than stay in Brighton, I'd be tempted to take a little tour of the coast and/or South Downs area

Have a great time and good luck with the weather

There aren't any good sites really close to Brighton, but in the surrounding area, St Ives, WoWo, Alfriston Camping Park, Kitts, all come recommended.

My quick best of Brighton area run down.

The North Laine - Which is; Trafalgar St, Sydney St, Kensington Gardens, Gardener St, Bond St and the roads and lanes off these.
Here you have loads the good independent shops, cafes, pubs, second hand shops, hipsters and people watching.

Hove - Often forgotten but if you visit on a weekend Hove is a bit quieter and has a nice vibe, especially the Hove lawns on the sea front where Brighton locals go when the Brighton sea front is getting slammed by day trippers. I also has lovely Victorian Seafront squares, Brunswick Sq, Palmeria Sq. and Adelaide Crescent.

The Downs - You can drive up to Ditchling Beacon and Devils Dyke for some walking along the top of the Downs

Lewes - 7-8 miles eastof Brighton is Lewes, this is a lovely little town nestled in the Downs with loads of history, a castle, brewery, lots of independent shops & cafes, flea markets/antique shops, and nice pubs of which the best is:

Other places in the surrounding area are:
Alfriston a nice village with South Downs and river edge walking, pubs and tea rooms.
Cuckmere Haven is a good walk resulting in a classic Sussex pebbled beach with white cliffs.

Hope this helps, your more than welcome to PM me any questions

Have a good trip, Andrew

Thanks guys!
We went to the camping site of the Caravan Club in Brighton. 10 min walk to the Marina and 45 min walk to the Pier.
