When I bought Boris from the po I forgot at the time to get the pin number for the radio.
Now that I am trying to Bluetooth my phone it keeps asking for a pin number.
You guessed it , I have not got one. I have used all the suspect and default ones.

Radio is Pioneer deh p55bt

Any ideas appreciated. Scoured the internet and nowhere does it tell you how to reset the pin.
Plenty of ways of how to reset radio and address book etc. but that's all.

Cheers people.

It's 1111.
It will only pair with one device at a time. Delete the existing phone/device and try again.
If this doesn't work, disconnect the 12V supply from the headunit, wait 10 minutes, reconnect and try again.

Cheers Sparkywig, have tried 0000,1111,1234 and a few others.
Reset the whole thing and still no luck?

Bin it and buy another?

Maybe. I've got a couple of Pioneer mechless headunits, but only one will work in the bus. They both worked fine in the Caddy and T4. :?

Ain't nothing working , so time for a new radio methinks.
Thanks for all the help chaps.

With this unit you can (if you wanted to) change the bluetooth pin. So maybe its been changed but in the manual it tells you how to change it something else. Maybe give this a try before you bin it off?

Al.

I tried something last night and now we have an error code 80 so I think it's time to get a new one.
Thanks n0rthernm0nkey, this was the first thing we tried and no chance I am afraid.
Will not do anything now, frozen.
