Chrome hub caps ~ cheap repo / good Quality....

What is the difference is it the quality of steel or is it triple plated chrome that you pay extra for??

If they are all the same steel pressings,its just the quality of chrome plating which alters the price surley.

Ive found that cheap chrome starts to go rusty in about a month,no matter what protective coat is applied.
I buy old genuine vw ones s/h and they last for years if treated,but then I'm not looking for perfection (would show up the rest of the bus).
