OK guys i need some input! Please.

So many issues and questions are arrising with the resto of my 71.The biggest on colour. You guys have been helpful lately so id like personal opinions if u will!
My van is vw slate blue at the mo, i quite like it as it aint a common bay colour, but also liking savannah beige or cianti red.
Lowered with fuchs, i reckon slate blue would look pretty good,I know colour is a very personal choice but Do you all reckon its a cool colour or is it a bit borin? Please be honest! Any help is appretiated as bus selecta just don't ave enuff colours! Thanks,Steve

If you have an original VW colour and you like it then keep it - if it's less common then all the more reason to hang on in there.

Get some pics up for us to look at - I can't visualise your current colour at the mo'...

;)

From an "originality point of view", I don't think Slate blue is a "pukka" 71 colour so by all means don't feel pressured to keep it that colour.

On a seperate note - what type of 'camper' is that. Roof looks very similar to mine, which I am pretty sure is a Canterbury Pitt...

Its actually a Danbury roof,Angus. And its the original. No canterbury pitts were made after 1969 and very few bays survive! Although it working is similar, the pitt roof is a little more boxy than the Danbury.Hope this helps,Steve

if u wanna see what savannah biege looks like on a bay with same roof, then check out my resto thread as this is what you will see. think i'm changing close to what you have now, lol. shall we just swap????? :)

the shade i'm actually thinking of going for is 5002, deeper blue-er blue
