Im running stock wheels and tyres on my 68 Cali Import...the tyres are shot so need to get 5 new ones. Im thinking of the commercial for extra strength carrying plenty of weight. The size's are;

Front - 185 R14 (they didnt have a 75 etc number on the tyre)
Rear - 195/75 R14

Can anyone recommend a tyre that has a band for the white wall to be put on in these size's.

Cheers
Matt

It seems whilst searching on Blackcircles etc that that size are commercial only. I've been recommended Toyo HO9's only problem is i dont know if they'll have an area on the tyre to take the white wall.

Are they commercial ones? Will they fit on a stock 14" wheel?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^give this man a call dood ;)

Question should i be running different size's on the front / back or just go the same all round and if so 195 75 or 185 75?? Stock setup stock height. Also if i do run different size's what spare do you go for? From looking at the thread with loads of pictures on im thinkin more down the lines of 185 75 rear and 185 65 front??

If you are going to be at stock height i'd personally stay with stock tyres. Anything with a lower profile is going to make the already massive gap between your tyre and arch even bigger. To combat different size tyres(frt and back) with mine i've got a spare for the frt and a can of tyre stuff incase the back goes.

matt,

i`ve just replaced all my tyres all round as i`m no longer stock height .....the tyres i took off are yankee whitewalls already and have loads of tread left, in real good condition.....pics if your interested fella
tenner each 195 75 14 all the same , i have a spare in good condition too which i`ll chuck in for free as its a 205 75 14
