I like this ideas as they don't obstruct the rear hatch, also look like they are clamped on so no need for on & off action?!

Seen the folding ones at nearly £200 sheets! bit steep IMO.
I need one soon as I will be making the most out of the rack in the near future.... so me needs to get up there.... coz its quite high up see... and I aint the tallest!!

Ta. :)

as much as i like the corner ladders but i wouldn't personally opt for one of this design that clamps on to the rear roof gutters/drip rails. AFAIK this is the area which is most prone to rusting due to accumulation of (rain) water on a bay roof so can comparetivly be weaker than the rest of the gutters and I wouldn't want to test it with a ladder on there with regular use to see if its still strong enough.

However, if this design is modified a little for the upper end to sit on the roof rack instead, i would go for it.

i personally like this design the best though

Might have a word with a guy I know about fabricating one to suit.

I tried a set of corner ones( I made) but I found them a bit wobbly so made these, corner ones where ok for general lifting stuff on ,but for bikes and they twisted ( if you do get some they need to spread the load more at the top,to stop the twist) but any ladder a god send

I've got a folding ladder. it sits in the gutter but hoping I can hook it on the rack ( haven't tried it)

if it doesn't work out il be looking for another
