Anybody on here repaired cracks on a padded dash or recovered one? After some advice please.

I just replaced mine for a new one, think I got it from custom commercial, I had to paint it black though as it was dark grey.

I know you can buy new ones mate but that wouldn't be padded. I like the look of the padded type more than the steel :D

We had it recovered in vinyl. Whatever you do don't remove the cracked covering as it makes it a nightmare to stick new material on.

Did you DIY and was it a hard job to do?

I've seen those bits, the padded dash top, recovered in some buses to match the interior, looks very cool, but also looks like a pro only job. The part from C&C is the same part, but a Brazilian item that seems to be a grey colour. I had the same and also painted mine black, it's also available if you want as i found a good second hand one.
