I don't know any history of the van you're speaking of, but if its an original/purpose built VW then I'd leave it be. I'd view my self as merley the custodian of the vehicle, sell it and get what you really want! if its nothing rare or special then - do what you like and enjoy it! :D

I agree, i wouldn't touch it.

I've never seen a van kited out like that, and probably never will.. I'd leave it be

Thanks for all the replies, I was thinking the same thing that this bus is too original and rare to be messed about with. I'm sure there is someone out there looking for a fridge van, it would be pretty cool to rig up the beer pumps :D

On the flip side chances are someone else will buy it cheap and do exactly the same as you are thinking - its a cheap way to get a decent looking panel van.
I cant imagine theres much demand for fridge vans - otherwise it would have sold like hot cakes at that price & dont forget it isnt a factory conversion (I think), the outside is what makes it look interesting to me - that can remain and you can always keep the interior & refit it if you want to sell it.
Better that it gets used well than not used at all
Steps off soap box.....

WHS^^^ wheres the market for a fridge van, take plenty of pics as it was do the conversion and keep a portfolio.....cool looking van....

Maybe remove n keep the original interior and deck it out how you want it. Then if/when you sell it the next owner can make their mind up :D

why dont you try and sel it first, give it say 6 months if it doesnt go, then convert it, try and keep the interior though so it could be converted back.

I think he is planning on buying it & then removing the interior, its currently owned by route9autos on here who has it up for sale on ebay.

I think i had coffee from this van at Biggar?, but i was too pissed/hungover to remember

a beer van selling coffee is a bit of an oxymoron :D

Or buy it run it as it is, stock it with beer and you'll be everyones mate with no end of offers for somewhere to sleep :D

this sounds like one of those once in a lifetime business opportunities combining my 2 favourite things!

I know what you mean.......Helen would kill me though, very slowly, masses of pain, almost sexual in a perverted way
