Dudes - the misses bought me a CSP shifter for Christmas...which was a great present and I'm sure I'll be paying for it some way or another....

Anyway - anyone fitted one of these and got any tips?

Cheers

I fitted it for grazy piece of piss just remove the floor mat undo the two bolts and remove the old shifter and replace with the new shifter you will have to trim the original rubber mat if fitted.Compleatly changed the van well worth doing.Mail grazy i belive he was well chuffed

nice one panelvan...sounds too good to be true! I'll let you know how I get on. ta.

It`s the bollox mate Chris fitted it in about ten mins and that included a tea break , 8) Let us know what occurs

OH MY GOD! This shifter is the best thing since sliced bread...what a great buy. Grazy you were absolutely right - this is the bollox!

pictures in situ please? i have my eye on a geneberg at about £220 but wanted to see a CSP one in the bus.. 8)

My van is away at the garage for its MOT today and probably won't be back till later in the week...I'll get a shot then.

I was considering the GB but the price put me off. The CSP is cool as you like and works very well...nice and shiny.

Check Faux`s thread on here Johnny think he has one in his

69 Sneak Preview I think its called

Cheers Grazy

the CSP is a fantastic peice of kit, the best £160 I've spent so far.

i got socks.... again..... :p

the CSP shifter looks really cool Faux, and so do the speedmasters 8)

are these really that good?
got a stock gear lever at present
can be a bit woolly at times
will a CSP shifter make that much of a difference?
am seriously tempted

:)

Dude - I didn't think a change of gear stick could really change my driving experience but it has. Grazy told me the same thing and it was true!

shifter arrived today

no fitting instructions at all

is it really as simple as panalvan says?

I don't want to start swapping it over and then find I can't get any gears whatsoever!

yes its piss easy. if your stuck someone here can talk you thought it by phone possibly?

dude - it is easy but I always find the instructions helpful. There are some tweaks you have to do to get spot on. I can scan the instructions for you tomorrow or you can check out the CSP web site you may be able to download them.

thnxs, will check out CSP site 2moro

OK, I rang m/c 7 who helpfully guided me to the pdf download on the CSP website and I swapped it over this evening and worked first time - takes a bit of getting used to, especially 1st gear after all that porridge stirring, but it's much easier, less stretching and quicker gear change

:D
