I'm looking at twin carbs for my stock 1641 tp motor . I've seen a pair of tidy dellorto idf 36's and wondered if they are better than the twin ict 36 Webber carbs .

Pretty sure that Weber are idf and dells are drla.

I have had drla's for years and they are great but i don't anything about carbs really.

My mistake yes dels are drla ,I've always had dels in the past but only on bigger motors .
Cheers ja

36 DRLA's on a 1641 will be great. They liven up a 1600 no end, and are good upto 1776 I think.

36 drla are great. ran them on 1641 for 000's miles puled the chokes for 32mm and ran them on my tourque beast 2027cc for loads of miles versatile great carbs,, why are they not on yet :)

Because I'm yet to find a nice set plus there's the manifolds and linkage that add another £300
