This probably sounds like a really stupid question, but here goes ..!

I have a devon pop top with a flat sided canvas - I can't seem to fold down the canvas in a way which allows me to close the hinges without rubbing against, and potentially damaging, the canvas. It's either fold down the canvas and have it sticking out of the sides on the exterior, or rubbing against the hinges and/or looking very untidy on the inside.

The folding bellows canvas looks like the way to avoid these problems, but that's another purchase for another time ;)

Can anyone help me with a picture of how the canvas should look on the inside with the roof down and hinges closed please?

Thanks for indulging my stupid questions once again

i cant help you but i would guess you would need a helper to roll it up both sides as you lower the two hinges, the bellows are about 4 inches wide when closed so there is room to stowe the canvas without touching the hinges. Have you got the original standard springs or the uprated ones from JK?

I have a flat sided poptop. The technique we use involves at least 2 people (or more if you can). You need to lower the poptop and then poke it from the outside. When it's all poked in you can then push the canvas back from the clips on the inside. If the canvas is sticking out you can't as it pulls on one side or the other. Ours goes in pretty quick now.
