I thought members on here maybe interested to see how we at Coolcampers and Totally Trimmed replaced a very tired Devon pop top with a new roof cap and replacement canvas
By removing all the original frame work the roof is still light enough to use the original springs

Looks great Gary. That’s been my ethos the whole time as it was mainly the flatish roof and that huge gasket that ruined the recipe and made it one of the leakiest roofs about. It may even be lighter than stock, it’d be interesting to get them on the scales. But definitely lighter than an original with twenty five layers of black magic on there :giggle:
