Hi EB folks.

Can anyone confirm the differences between pre '73 and later bay seats?

I've bought a couple which are meant to be early bay seats, but have no idea how to tell if they are. I'd like to buy new pads and covers for them, but am not clear how to make sure I buy the correct ones.

Many thanks for your insight and knowledge.

Matt

Here is a link for pads which should help with the years.

Matt, -I'll bet you that splitty of yours that you need the 68>74 pads, the last lot I bought were from Coolair at just under £100 delivered as Coolair give Earlybayer's a small discount

Note bases are the same as for a 63> splity to bay 74, the backs are 68>74 bay only items.

Will get back to the T25 of doom this weekend

Apparently, early bay seats have the big knob on the front as well.
Anyway, I've ordered the early ones as you suggested. Just wanted to make sure..

The drivers had a fair sized round plastic adjuster on the front -these are available new if it's damaged (I bought mine from MCJ products)
