Please help - i searched on the forum which tyre sizes are used for slammed busses. Could find a thread with exactly that topic but without pictures.

I want to go with 5,5x15" alloys on my bus (stock 50 PS engine) and i´m not sure wich tire sizes fits and looks best??

Heard a lot that people go with 175/55 front and 185/65 rear.

I saw tons of pictures here but most time without giving the specifications...do you have pictures?

Thanks
Reto

cheers. not sure what you mean by u/min? dont get any problems anyway :D

Thx Loxy for your translation :) (u/min = Umdrehungen pro Minute)

@Steve92

Did you chance your gear ratio at the rear? Is it no proplem to ride with smaller diameter tires at the rear than stock?

no, gear ratio is the same, but the rims are 15" dia. stock are 14" so with the lower tyre profile and a bigger rim, the overall diameter isnt much different.

heres mine

4" narrowed beam, dropped spindles up front, 175/55/15

rear has adjustable spring plates, 185/65/15

front and rear havnt been levelled out yet, will be dropped a bit lower in time
