Took the rear passenger door off my crewcab today and trial fitted a replacement one on and it won't close... The top is too far back the hinges look the same as the original door (71 van 68 replacement door) strange thing is went to fit original door back on and it's got the same problem WTF. How can that be and what am I doing wrong? Cheers

68 doors are year only due to the handle figment

The actual door and hinge measure up as the same size, what really baffles me is how come the og door doesn't fit back on!? Anyone fitted a rear door in a crew cab?

Sorry  Back doors not cab doors. My bad.

had another look today , yes the door is the same size with same hinges, but and you are right in some respects, they are as you said one year only push button, interior pull unlock...also the handles and lock mechs do not transfer as the hole in the door is round and not oval as i found out today

now to find the person that needs a one year only rear crewcab door ;)
