Hi,

Both our cab doors have rusted out in the usual places (bottom 2" of the long section above the top of the wheel arch).

Is it better to source rust free replacement doors, or have our exisiting doors repaired?

Would a repaired/repainted door last/fair equally as well as a rust free replacement (repainted to same spec' etc).

In terms of cost, would it be cheaper to get replacement doors or pay a welder/body person to repair the existing doors?

I have seen a couple of threads on here where doors have been plated/repaired and wondered if they have been done so simply because they are a competent welder/restorer.

Thanks,

Mike

They are possible to repair, I had to do the very bottom edge of mine. It depends on how bad they are. Do you have any pics?

These pictures aren't fantastic - but as you can see, the drivers side door is worse than the passenger side
