Dormobile lid

I am fitting a new plain grey 'canvas' skirt to my 1971 dormobile pop-top. I got it fro Dormobile UK who sent it to me in New Zealand. Unfortunately it is at least 20cm too big all round - it is in no way a comfy fit and I am very disappointed as the original green pin stripe material seems to be perfect dimensions. Can anyone help me with how I am meant to allow for an extra 20 cm, do I just fold it over and live with the excess. Please help, its as frustrating as anything - at least its not too small I spose.

Surely the obvious thing to do first is to speak to Dormobile.
