Hello

Having ordered the above a couple of days ago they have now arrived.

Looking at then they feel really quite stiff and I am wondering what the best way is to fit them please ?

Has anyone else tried and has some advice please ?

Many thanks

Simon

Where did you get the seals from? I had some that were too stiff (from Campershop) and wouldn't go around the curves of the glass aperture in the roof. Ended up getting proper ones from Dormobile. You will also need the 'diamond lacing tool' to insert the insert.

Put the rubber on the aperture in the roof first with the channel for the rubber insert topmost (outside of van). Once you've got the seal in place, carefully slot the glass in (takes some patience - and tbh, can't remember now if we did aperture or glass first). Then, thread the rubber insert through the middle of the tool, put the tool in the slot and pull it backwards, opening the channel and allowing you to push and clip the insert into place.

With the wrong seals, there was much swearing doing mine even with 2 people. With the right seals and knowing what we were doing, it took less and 30 mins to do both bits.

Good luck!
